Why go to Poland for a cosmetic surgery?
People choose to have their surgery in Poland for a number of reasons:
- Cost. Plastic Surgery in Poland is a far cheaper way to acquire the look that you desire. Prices of cosmetic procedures in Poland are substantially lower than that of its Western Europe counterparts and meets same high medical standards. With the cost of flights, accommodation and cosmetic plastic surgery, the total outlay for a patient can be less than 50% of having cosmetic surgery at home.
- Excellent and board certified plastic surgeons. Because of the qualifications and certifications of plastic surgeons in Poland, the quality of their medical procedures is very competitive to that in the US, Canada or United Kingdom.
- Modern clinics, hospitals, and medical facilities. These also makes the quality of plastic surgery in Poland higher and more credible.
- Privacy. Many of our clients prefer to undergo their operation abroad as they do not wish to be seen by their relatives during their recovery period. Safe recovery abroad is provided by our team here in Poland.

What hospitals does Medical Poland work with? How does Medical Poland choose medical providers?
Medical Poland currently has working relationships with highest-level medical providers in Poland. Our provider network is continually changing as we evaluate new facilities and build working relationships with top-quality hospitals and clinics in Poland. Medical Poland selects its medical centers network based upon a number of criteria. These criteria include a review of their international, domestic, clinical and service credentials; the credentials of the physicians and their history of working with patients. Every Hospital or medical provider is accessed and reviewed by Medical Poland for its quality, reliability and safety before being included as a service provider.
Why are your services so cheap?
The cost advantage comes in with the low cost of living and wages compared to Western Europe countries, coupled with the fact that there are lower taxes paid on treatments in Poland- we have lower labor costs, lower taxes, lower administrative costs. At the same time the quality of work, the equipment and facilities in our hospitals and the medical skills of our surgrons are comparable to those in the leading hospitals in the world. We can confidently say that by going to Poland for surgery, you can get access to more outstanding quality and service than you would have been able to afford in your home country. While the rate is cheaper the quality is not compromised at all. The results are the same, if not better.
How do I get from the airport to my hotel, clinic and tourist places, etc., if I don’t know my way around Poland?
You will be met at the airport by one of our English speaking staff who will take you to the hotel and clinic. Our representative will be with you every step of the way; from meeting you at the airport when you land in Poland, to the moment you leave to fly back home. His sole function is to provide you with any assistance that you may need. He will ensure that transportation is arranged to and from your accommodation to the hospital for all of your appointments.
If there is a need can I stay longer?
The length of stay depends on two main aspects. How long you need to stay, and how long you want to stay. For small procedures like otoplasty, blepharoplasty or breast augmentation it is advised you stay at least 10 days. For more involved cases such as breast reduction and abdominoplasty it is advised at least 14 days. When we quote you for your chosen procedure, the price shall include the amount of stay needed to recover sufficiently from the surgery. However, if you wished to stay longer, we could arrange the stay to be extended. Feel free to enjoy every corner of our region and extend your holidays.
Do I need additional insurance?
It is highly advisable to check if your health insurance cover treatments abroad. If not, it is wise to consider extra cover. We always recommend taking travel insurance. But rsmallsmallber that a usual travel insurance probably do not cover problsmalls after the surgery taken abroad (you may need specialist travel insurance)- you have to consult it with your insurance broker.
Where am I going to stay after the surgery/treatment?
Generally, for the most types of body surgery, an overnight stay in the clinic is required. The maximum time of hospitalization is 5 days – it depends on the type of treatment. Then You will go back to your hotel with the company of the destination coordinator.
During the next few days, you will be required to return clinic for mandatory check-ups with your surgeon with the help of your assistant.
There are also one-day treatments – you enter the clinic in the morning, after the operation/treatment you rest in your room, by the evening you will be well recovered and able to return to your hotel.
The minimum stay in Poland after general procedures is usually 2-5 nights. In case you wish to stay only for the minimum time in Poland you must arrange supervision and aftercare back home.
Do the doctors and medical staff speak English?
Yes, most of the hospitals and clinics in our network have English-speaking doctors as well as an English-speaking staff. We have made sure that English-speaking people are at your disposal.
How are you expected to be paid?
The surgery is partially paid prior to arranging an appointment for face-to-face consultation and surgery by paying an advance of 10-20% to our bank account (wire transfer). Once you will confirm the appointment and pay the advance we will expect you to arrive to Poland. The rest of the payment is paid in Poland by cash or credit card.
